The 12-week Chatterbugs programme aims to develop children's attention and listening skills, turn-taking, and receptive and expressive language during the Early Years Foundation Stage. It is suitable for young children who require some targeted support with their school-readiness skills, speech and language or who are at the early stages of learning English.
"Having attended the Chatterbugs Leader training today, I can honestly say that it was fantastic. I found it very beneficial in supporting me with recognising the early signs of communication difficulties and ideas around intervention. I came away with plenty of food for thought. Andrea was passionate, professional and informative; delivering the session in a thoroughly engaging way."

"Chatterbugs is a tried and tested Early Years intervention targeted at those children who start school without the language, attention and turn taking skills required. It has been developed and refined over a number of years, with over 1000 children benefitting. Chatterbugs is a no fuss, practical resource. The guidance is very easy to follow, and I expect teaching assistants will be able to run groups and track progress independently once they get going. SENCOs will find this resource extremely useful, as it can built into a school’s graduated response for children with SEND."
